A Valentine's Day Mystery
On Valentine's Day eve of 1906, a very peculiar death took place inside a West Chester boarding house. At around midnight a boarder by the name of David Bacon smelled smoke. He ran downstairs and discovered a young woman, with her arms outstretched, engulfed in flames. She had checked in at the boarding house without giving her name, and before he could do anything to save her, she fell dead at his feet without uttering a single word.

Was it a murder? Suicide? Unfortunately, my research has failed to turn up any additional facts about this bizarre story.
