The Deadly Sermons of a Waynesboro Preacher

In 1917, a woman died in the rest room of a church while Rev. J.M. Frances was preaching a sermon. Strangely, the previous time Rev. Frances preached the same sermon, another member of his congregation passed away during the recitation-- his own mother.
