A Dog's Suicide
Dogs have been known to follow their masters anywhere... even into the afterworld. Anthony Malinoski and his dog were inseparable. After Anthony, a high school freshman from Mount Carmel, died from appendicitis in 1937, the boy's dog followed his master to the grave by drowning himself in the same swimming hole where they had spend so many happy afternoons. This touching story appeared in the Sunbury Daily on Feb. 23, 1937.
