The Drunken Fish of Bull Run

 

What happens when you pour 4,000 gallons of hard liquor into a small stream? The above clipping describes the scene after prohibition agents dumped a rather large quantity of booze into Bull Run, the tiny creek running through Lewisburg, in October of 1929.
